For Micro & Mighty Series Digital Panel Meters, Counters, Timers & Large Digit Displays
Catalogs, Brochures & Price Lists
The Micro / Mighty Series is our most popular line of modular, microprocessor based digital panel meters, counters, timers, and large-digit displays with a choice of control and communication options. Available in three digit heights: 0.56″, 1.0″, 5.0″ (Micro, Mighty-5).
Micro Setup & Calibration Software can simplify setup of Micro Series meters, counters and remote displays compared to programming these units from the front panel. Requirements are a PC, an RS232, USB or Ethernet communications board, and this software, which can be downloaded at no charge. Following setup, the communications board can be removed if desired.
Custom Curve Linearization is a capability of Micro process meters, strain gauge meters, load cell meters, counters and totalizers. Requirements are the Extended meter or counter ordering option, an external PC, an RS232 option board, and this software, which can be downloaded at no charge. Following linearization, the RS232 board can be removed if desired.
Data Logging from up to 31 digital panel meters and counters connected to a PC via a single RS485 data line is possible with Micro Windows based datalogging software. PC screens can display up to 64 simulated meters, which can be mathematical combinations of meter readings as well as totalized analog readings. Data can be captured in disk in the form of ASCII files for graphing and analysis using a program such as MS Excel. Requirements are a PC, an RS232, USB or Ethernet communications board, and this software, which can be downloaded at no charge.
Installs our Windows-based Node Manager Software, which runs on a host computer and is used to configure our Ethernet Nodes. It automatically discovers all Nodes on a LAN or WAN, plus any devices connected to each Server Node via an RS485 bus. It is used to configure each Node, such as setting communication parameters, naming the Node and associated devices, entering email addresses for alarm notification and data requests, selecting the Node’s time zone for time-stamping of emails and streaming data, and upgrading firmware. Once configuration data has been stored in flash memory of all Nodes, Node Manager Software can be closed. To install, download the file into its own directory such as c:\temp2. Double-click on the file to unzip it, then double-click on setup.exe to install. Please see our Ethernet Communications Manual for additional information.
EtherLN1_3_5.txt (341 kB) is the latest revision of our Node Firmware, which resides in flash memory of our Ethernet Nodes. It is required for Node operation and includes a web server for Node discovery and setup. To see if a Node needs a firmware upgrade to this version, open the Node with Node Manager Software and click on the Firmware Upgrade tab. If the version on this web page is higher than the version currently in the Node, perform the upgrade. To upgrade, click on above link and save the text file in a directory such as C:\Program Files\NodeMgr\. Then follow the instructions under the Firmware Upgrade tab. Upgrading will not affect data stored in the Node.
